How your reading is calculated
Most astrology apps guess. We compute. Here is exactly what happens between your birth details and the reading you receive — and where the line between astronomy and interpretation sits.
1. The astronomy is real
From your birth date, exact time, and place, we compute the true positions of the Sun, Moon, and planets at the moment you were born using Swiss Ephemeris— the same high-precision astronomical dataset used by observatories and professional astronomers. Positions are resolved to the degree, at your birth minute, for your exact coordinates. This part isn't belief — it's ephemeris data.
2. Your chart is built from those positions
Those planetary positions are placed into houses and aspects to form your natal chart — your Sun sign, Moon sign, rising sign, Venus, Mars, and the geometric relationships between them. Nothing here is invented or randomized: give us the same birth details and you get the same chart, every time.
3. The interpretation is astrology
Your reading translates that chart into language using the established symbolic tradition of astrology. This is interpretation, not measurement — and we're upfront about that. Read it for insight, reflection, and enjoyment. It is not medical, legal, psychological, or financial advice, and it won't predict fixed future events.
What we don't do
No psychics. No "we saw your soulmate's face." No cold-reading. Every claim about your chart traces back to a real planetary position we can show you. If a competitor can't tell you where a statement comes from, that's the difference.
